lyrics
living in the universe of decay
every tree soon will fall
overwhelmed by sorrow and
inevitable death of all life
used to have it deep inside
hidden in darkness of my flesh
shine of spirit, shine of soul
In this cold and cruel world
again I must take this all
blood washed away my innocence
darkness consumed my soul
noone shall ever know
what I hide deep inside
noone can never see who am I
bloodborn nightmare in disguise
world is dead and I've consumed
everything that was good in me
embrace the horror behind your back
will you look and meet your end?
hello Mirror, my most hated friend
as noone but you can see through the lies I've made
in your silver depths burns a fiery hell
white eyes and oceans of my victims' blood
I forgot how to care
I forgot how to forgive
only you can reveal my true self
red stains, hellflesh of my ruined face
I embrace what I've became
I will take your lives away
I shall rise in the darkest hour
I will feast upon your sanity
I CAN SEE YOU
I CAN SEE YOU
I CAN SEE YOU
I CAN SEE YOU
i think this album is a really great mix of athmospheric progressive and intelligence i hope your band have a really big success i think more people need to know music that can make your brain feel good ! adrienmaterne
Seattle’s Laden captures the storm and stress of the greatest, grimmest post-metal, crafting songs from 20-megaton riffs. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 29, 2022
If you're going to go out in apocalyptic style you might want to have the 40 minute title track playing loud at your side. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 12, 2013
These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon.
