lyrics
Grey foundations of stone
Scant traces, ancient codes
On which we'll build our own
Morally fueled world.
Rigid man
But lost and scared
A void to fill with dreams
Open hand
Extended and prepared
A birth of new mystique.
I have been disconnected from
Everything I have loved
Lost meanings, silenced dreams
Evershifting in disease
Of the mind
My place of solace broken
The structure given to support a man
True faith brings true pain.
No lies, but laws
New guides, old gods
Tower of brightness
Born from weathered stone
From weathered stone.
A flock will know its shepherd
A man will take our will
Illuminate, eliminate
A flock with know its shepherd
A man will lose its sin
Illuminate, eliminate.
And like all those before us
Who challenged the nature of man
We'll see our world comes crumbling
And turns right back to stone.
The pattern of fools has been
Repeated all over again
Unable to learn from the present
Unable to learn from the past.
Knowing it's all the same
Knowing we do it in vain
Knowing it's all the same
Yet carrying a bitter hope.

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon. Restless Spirit have abandoned all N.Y. hardcore roots and replaced it with deep soulful tradional doom and nailed it.I didnt think I would like it so much but the album embodies the bands name and is truly restless with spirit🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 doomcrew
If you're going to go out in apocalyptic style you might want to have the 40 minute title track playing loud at your side. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 12, 2013
The debut full-length from Kenoma is full of spacious, haunting songs that steadily build to great rushes of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 29, 2017
