lyrics
Through the memory leads a narrow path.
Passing through the gardens and the gate of mists.
Back to this forest of forever trapped sun.
Once again I find myself following the last dim light.
A misty moor covered with shadows.
My steps so silent heard by noone alive.
I should feel complete now: scorn towards the foolish past.
Traded dreams for insight and gained nothing in return.
Everything I was - everything I had
Buried deep beneath roots of oldest trees.
All this only mine - yet I find myself again
Hiding from the sight of this cursed world.
Bathed in starshine - once upon a time.
Eternal spring of joy, laughs and the warm light.
As the fire slowly fades - ashes in my hands.
Through this forest of twilight I go - through this fading life.
Done with everything - yet still wandering.
Have I lost my purpose - or have I never found?
Lifeless mass of trees, dead phosphorescent light.
Dream of a hollow life. Life that we all share.

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon. If you're going to go out in apocalyptic style you might want to have the 40 minute title track playing loud at your side. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 12, 2013
The debut full-length from Kenoma is full of spacious, haunting songs that steadily build to great rushes of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 29, 2017
